A walk through the app

Where the work actually happens.

A walk through what your team uses every day on site — the defect register on the desktop, capture on the phone, and the audit trail behind every photo, comment and sign-off.

01 / DEFECT REGISTER

Find the right defect. Act on it — or fifty of them.

The list is where supervisors and PMs live. Filter to overdue. Search by location. Bulk-assign three rows to a trade. Share a view by sharing the link — no exports, no screenshots.

1
Six filters in one bar

See exactly what you need to chase. Priority + overdue + trade + status all combine. Clear in one click.

2
Status at a glance

Open, Pending, In Dispute, Fixed, Closed — with live counts. Tap any combination to filter.

3
Disputes are visible from the top

Trade pushed back? It bubbles up to the list with its own colour. Spot trouble before it escalates.

4
Re-assign 50 defects at once

Tick the rows, drop the action bar. Change trade, status, or owner — confirm, done.

5
Overdue is impossible to miss

Past-due dates turn red with the day count. Future dates stay calm.

6

02 / DEFECT RECORD

Every photo, every comment, every sign-off.

Status, location, who's assigned, what photos exist, who said what — and a tamper-proof audit trail of every change. Conversations are scoped automatically: trades see their thread, tenants see theirs, clients see a sanitised summary. No cross-talk, no leaks.

The same record, the right view per role

Trade sees only their assignment, only their thread, only their actions. No internal notes, no other trades' work.
Tenant gets a read-only view of their unit's defects — no contractor names, no audit trail, no project clutter.
Client gets a clean handover dossier — branded as your firm, scoped to what they should see.
Building manager sees only their building or units, with the location tree pre-scoped to that slice.
03 / CAPTURE ON SITE

Speed beats completeness.

Phone in hand, on a wet floor, in a basement with no signal. Three flows cover almost every capture — scan a sticker (location auto-fills), pick the location yourself (full form), or work offline and let it sync the moment signal returns.

A · FROM A QR STICKER
Scanned a sticker, raised a defect
Tenant or trade scans the QR on the level, location pre-fills, they describe and submit. No menus, no hunting for the right unit.
B · FULL FORM · INSPECTOR
Pick the location, set the rest
Inspector path. Location, type, priority, due date and contractor — all set inline. Invite a new contact without leaving the flow.
C · BASEMENT · NO SIGNAL
No signal, kept working
Captures save locally and queue automatically. Sync flushes the moment signal returns. The team can see exactly what’s pending — nothing is ever lost.
04 / DISPUTES

The status of productive disagreement.

Defects don't always go straight from Open to Closed. Sometimes a trade challenges scope, a tenant escalates, or a supervisor needs a second opinion. In Dispute is its own status — counted, filtered, and visible without drilling in.

Dispute
Visible without drilling in. Disputed defects show up in the list, on the dashboard, and in reports — managers spot trouble before it escalates into a claim or a delay.
Track it through to resolution. Every dispute is a thread on the record: who challenged it, what they said, and what the resolution was — preserved for warranty conversations and claims defence.
05 / MULTIPLE TRADES

One defect, several contractors, one screen.

Most defects go to one trade. Some need three — a defect to the tiler, a backcharge to the plumber, a variation to the carpenter. Each row carries its own status, due date and accountability, all on one record. Edit any row inline; never lose the audit trail.

02

03

04

06 / SITE DIARY

Every day on site, on the record.

Weather is filled in automatically. Workforce, plant, delays and visitors take a minute — or copy yesterday and adjust. Every photo lands in the project gallery, and the hours you log become timesheets. One entry, three records.

Photos become the project gallery. Every photo added to a diary entry files itself into the project's Photos module — dated, commented, and browsable long after the day is done.
Hours become timesheets. Staff logged in the diary roll up into weekly and monthly timesheets per employee and per project — exported to CSV for payroll in one click.
Yesterday, again — in one tap. Most site days look like the last one. Copy the previous day's entry and adjust what changed, instead of retyping the same crews and plant.
07 / PHOTOS

Every photo, already filed.

Photos taken on defects and in the site diary don't sit in someone's camera roll — they land in one project gallery, grouped by date, captioned, and still findable years after handover.

Filed without filing. Anything photographed on a defect or a diary entry appears here automatically — no upload step, no folder naming, no evidence lost on a phone that went back to the office.
Dated and captioned. Every photo keeps its date and a freeform comment, so “when was the membrane covered?” is a scroll, not an archaeology dig.
Originals on demand. Open any photo full screen and download the original file — for handover packs, insurers, or the dispute you hope never comes.
08 / TIMESHEETS

Hours logged once, never retyped.

The staff and hours recorded in each day's diary roll up into a timesheet — per employee, per project, by week or month — and export to a payroll-ready CSV in one click.

One entry, two records. Whoever fills in the diary's workforce section has already done the timesheet — the same hours appear here with nothing retyped and nothing forgotten.
Employee × project. Totals roll up per person and per project, by week or by month — so cross-project crews are split correctly without a spreadsheet.
CSV for payroll. Export the period and hand it straight to payroll or your accountant — Excel-safe, totalled, and traceable back to the diary day it came from.
